What is BIOS?

BIOS (Basic input output system).
    BIOS or Basic input output system is a small piece of code contained on your system board.when you start your system bios is first software that runs on your computer which identifies the system hardware, configures it,tests it and connects it to the operating  system and this process is called as Boot Process.
